About the U24 event
The U24 event, which has seen a growing number of participants in recent years, offers two distances: 24 km and 12 km!
Located on the south coast of Australia, near Melbourne, U24 offers the chance to experience an unforgettable open-water adventure! Swimmers move along the coast in turquoise waters in the bay of Sorrento, an extraordinary setting for open-water swimming!
The price includes transportation from Melbourne Airport to Sorrento, 6 days of accommodation on-site, participation in the U24 event, including individual boat escort (mandatory for this distance). Swimming is permitted with or without a wetsuit!
24 km / 12 km ultra-marathon swim course
Date: 14th February, 2026
From Safety Beach to Sorrento on Victoria's iconic Mornington Peninsula / Australia. Swim distances include 12 km and 24 km.
The swim is held annually on the second Saturday in February.
Swim camp
Date: 10th - 13th February, 2026
Additionally, there is the option to participate in a four-day swim camp on-site. This camp focuses on preparation for participating in the U24 event, though it can also be booked without taking part in the event! The swim sessions are led by professional open-water swimmers specializing in tackling long open-water marathon distances (one hour is conducted in the morning and one hour in the afternoon, followed by debriefing).
